New to AC is an outpost of the Sugar Factory chain, a sweet shop and restaurant that was apparently named the “most Instagrammed restaurant in the United States” a couple years ago, according to Hard Rock. Local favorite White House Sub Shop, one of the 10 essential restaurants in Atlantic City, is reopening its Taj Mahal-turned-Hard Rock location.
The first day for the revamped property is set for June 28, the same day the Ocean Resort casino-hotel opens nearby in what was Revel ( RIP). The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino replacing the Trump Taj Mahal on the Atlantic City boardwalk opens its doors later this month with about 20 food and drink venues, including a 400-seat Hard Rock Café with indoor and outdoor music stages.
